Village Hall Facilities
The Village Hall comprises of a large Main Hall, a Mezzanine floor used for storage, a kitchen, further storage areas, outdoor children's play area, grassed area and a car park. Hire of the Village Hall includes use of the Main Hall , the kitchen, the play area, the outdoor areas and some of the parking spaces adjacent to the hall. The Village Hall has an entertainments licence.
If you wish to sell alcohol then you will require a TENS licence.
MAIN HALL
The main hall is approx. 16m x 8.5m and is fantastic for sporting events, parties, clubs, meetings etc. The hall floor is marked out with a badminton court and has plenty of height
Hire of the hall also includes the hire of tables, and chairs and use of the kitchen. There is a storage area to the rear of the hall which is used by clubs and societies to store their equipment but can also be used as temporary storage for event paraphernalia.
MEZZANINE
A small upstairs area, not currently available for hire.
Offers storage areas for the different clubs and societies which use the hall.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is approx. 5.2m * 3.3m and contains two ovens, two hobs, a microwave, two fridges, a freezer, kettles, urn, sink, utensils and crockery etc.
Use of the kitchen is included in any hire.
OUTDOORS
Outside the village hall is a large parking area, part of which during the day is used by the doctor's surgery. After 6:30pm and at weekends, the whole car park is available for village hall use.
To the sides and rear of the building are grassy areas which can be used if required, along with a children's play area.
